Newly Sworn- In Assemblymember Stone Ready to Get to Work
(Sacramento) – The newly sworn-in freshman class of 39 California State Assemblymembers may have the opportunity to work together for up to 12 years. One of the new legislators, Assemblymember Mark Stone (D-Santa Cruz) says he sees that as an opportunity to build relationships, reach across the aisle and craft effective policy for California. In an interview just after being sworn-in, Assemblymember Stone said his priorities are the environment, child welfare and adult protective services.
